I figured out that nothing is ever enough for a man After my best friend slept with my husband. I told her girl, get on! But sometimes you just have to say Hey, hey, hey even if you're still hanging on, wondering...Are you ready for the big love? And if you are, whatcha gonna do about it? You see, love is like a miracle in motion, but you better don't say you love me baby unless you're ready to bring me flowers in the rain. That's where I see the light, between love and ain't no good man.

BIOgraphy
From her humble beginnings in St. Louis to the Broadway stage, Lisa "St. lou" has touched almost every part of the musical stratosphere. She started singing in her grandma's baptist church, winding her way to Broadway in The Producers, and coming home to soul. No one could deny Lisa's huge voice, that effortlessly flowed from her small frame.
After receiving her Bachelor’s of Music from Truman State University (Kirksville, MO), where she won the Gold Medal Concerto/Aria Competition, Lisa continued her music education at Boston University’s School for the Arts, studying classical voice with world-renowned teacher, Penelope Bitzas and received a Master’s degree in vocal performance.
Focusing on her songwriting, Lisa wrote a full-length original musical called Stealing Time with Grammy-nominated composer and producer, Tor Hyams. After debuting at NYMF 2012, the show has had numerous NYC readings, starring lisa (of course), was accepted to the Finger Lakes Musical Theater Festival and featured at the prestigious Johnny Mercer Writer's Colony at Goodspeed Opera House. She is currently under commission (with Hyams) for Green Acres, the Musical and is developing several other properties.
In addition to musical theater, Lisa has appeared in numerous television commercials, voice-overs, music videos and play readings (Israel Horovitz’s The Vote in Orange opposite Bobby Cannavale and Kevin Klein). She also starred in and co-wrote an original series for Nickmom.com called Mommy needs a Time Out.
